My name is Zhan, I am from China, and I completed my Bachelor’s degree at Beijing University of Chemical Technology before joining the Autonomy Technologies program at FAU. I was especially interested in artificial intelligence, computer vision and point cloud processing. My Master’s thesis focused on scalable point cloud compression with 3D Gaussian Splatting. I am currently working as an algorithm engineer at Sansitech, focusing on mmWave radar and point cloud based perception. The AT program provided me with a strong interdisciplinary foundation in AI, robotics and intelligent systems, and helped me develop both the technical knowledge and practical skills that are highly relevant to my current work.
