Why do I have to take an admission test?

In order to be admitted to the BSc AT, you have to pass a Qualification Assessment Process, which includes an online test. This is to ensure that applicants can prove that they meet the special qualitative requirements of the degree program and have the skills that are expected to lead to a successful course of study.

During the Qualification Assessment Process the university entrance qualification and the online test are taken into account. Both grades are converted into points and then added together. You must achieve a total of at least 140 points to be admitted. Additional documents such as letters of recommendation, additional achievements or further education do not provide a bonus.

Detailed information as well as the conversion scales can be found in the statutes on the Qualification Assessment Process (= Eignungsfeststellungsverfahren/EFV).
