Who is considered an international and who a domestic applicant?

Applicants who have German citizenship and/or have obtained their university entrance qualification in Germany are considered to be domestic. Applicants who have neither German citizenship nor a university entrance qualification from Germany are considered internationals. Please note: An IB diploma is considered an international university entrance qualification from Switzerland (regardless of the country in which it was obtained).
