Can I complete the degree program online?

No, the BSc AT is an on-campus degree program. Classes begin mid-October, and a recommended but optional Welcome Week for international students is offered during the first week of October. Since moving to a foreign city/country and starting at a new university is very challenging and the first classes form an important basis for further studies, we recommend that our students come to Erlangen as early as possible.

We are aware that it can be difficult to obtain a visa in time and therefore grant our students Late Arrival until the end of October. As FAU is a brick and mortar university, we unfortunately cannot assume that students who arrive later will still successfully complete the semester. In this case, they would have to postpone the start of their studies.
